Gideon Adedokun is a seasoned finance professional and Chartered Accountant with over 15 years of comprehensive experience in accounting, financial planning, and business intelligence. Currently, he is a Professor of Financial Management and International Business Ethics at St. Lawrence College in Canada, where he develops and implements innovative lesson plans and fosters an inclusive learning environment through his scholarly research. His expertise lies in utilizing advanced tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Oracle Analytics Cloud to drive business performance through insightful data analysis.
Previously, he served as Senior Manager of Decision & Analytics at MTN Group in South Africa and had impactful stints in Nigeria with MTN and Access Bank Plc. He also held positions in strategic planning, business intelligence, and operational performance management, reflecting a robust adaptability and commitment to operational excellence.
Gideon holds an MSc in Professional Accounting from the University of London, UK, a BSc in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, UK, and a Higher National Diploma in Accounting from Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Ogun State, Nigeria.

Gideon is a member of several professional organizations including the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK) and the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario & British Columbia, Canada, and Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ACA). He is also a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK). Outside of work, Gideon enjoys football, classical music, and volunteering to improve financial literacy in his community. He is currently the Principal Partner, Data Mining and Analytics at Africa Data Warehouse.
